We hope that these workshops have assisted families and their daughters in supporting a successful start to Year 7.
On Tuesday 18 February we welcomed parents and students from Year 7 to our Aspiring to Achieve workshops. The workshops are aimed at supporting our families to a successful transition into high school at Merici. The evening commenced with a presentation by Coastlife Adventures regarding the upcoming Year 7 Camp. This was followed by a rotation of three key sessions covering:
- Pastoral Care Support- Pastoral and Curriculum issues, student wellbeing, how we care and support your daughter at Merici
- Planning for Academic Success - Supporting your daughter to develop a school/life balance, Unpacking assessments, rubics and outcomes
- IT@Merici - Using Moodle, accessing work from home, supporting your daughter's use of techology, saving work.
We hope that these workshops have assisted families and their daughters in supporting a successful start to Year 7.
