Merici ex-student ACT Young Woman of the Year talks to students about leadership

We would like to thank Caitlin Figueiredo for speaking to our Student Representative Council (SRC) members at their Leadership Day today. Caitlin spoke about the importance of giving and compromise when you are a leader and the ability to see the ‘big picture’ and to make 'big dreams'. Her presentation was an inspiration to all our students. Caitlin also had the opportunity of visiting her old PC classroom, Ningil 6, now a renovated science lab! We look forward to seeing Caitlin back at Merici in August.

Green Tip #7 Easter Recycling Tips

We hope that everyone had a very happy and relaxing Easter.

Here are some tips for managing Easter waste sustainably!

You can recycle your Easter egg foil and any cardboard packaging. Hot cross bun packaging and other soft plastic can’t go in the Yellow bin, but you can drop it off at your local Coles or Woolies and place in the soft plastics recycling bin.

Easter Liturgy

On Thursday 29 March, the Merici College community reflected on the significance of Easter by exploring the Stations of the Cross and other important aspects of Holy Week in the Easter Liturgy. The liturgy was completely student-focussed with approximately 50 students leading all elements. We wish our community a very Holy and safe Easter.
