Congratulations to Caitlyn Crick, Year 9 student who has received a 2018 Audrey Fagan Young Women’s Enrichment Grant.
The Grants Program is a component of the Audrey Fagan Scholarships Program and honours Ms Fagan’s support and mentoring of young women. Enrichment Grants of up to $2,000 are awarded to young women aged 13 to 18 years to further their interests in a particular area and to participate in a mentoring relationship. Caitlyn aims to put her grant towards training on powered aircraft as well as gliding. She hopes to achieve her first solo flight before her sixteenth birthday. This will contribute to her long term goal of becoming a career pilot.
