We congratulate Jessica Lauc, Year 12 student, on winning the National CPA Business Plan Competition in Melbourne. Jessica presented her business plan on the "LEADZ" band, to a panel of judges including the Director of CPA Australia and the National Coordinator of Business Educators. The "LEADZ" band is a very innovative design of a dog band that contains two compartments: one for dog treats; and the other for tidy bags or any other small items such as car keys, on either side of the band. Jessica was inspired to design the band by her family dog, Archie Lauc!
Jessica is looking forward to the next step of her business plan. She has registered her design patent and hopes to build relationships with possible manufacturers to develop her prototype for sale to the general public. Jessica can be contacted on email [email protected].
