Help raise funds for Türkiye and Syria - this Friday 17 February

he donations will be going to the Caritas Australia Turkey Syria Crisis Appeal.

As many people would know, Türkiye and Syria have been struck by a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake. Thousands of deaths have been reported in Türkiye and Syria and the death toll is increasing by the hour. Freezing winter weather is only adding to the devastation, as the thousands left injured, trapped or homeless are stuck in bitter cold and rain.

Merici College will be having a uniform free day (with a suggestion of wearing red items of clothing or accessories in solidarity with the country's national colours).

This will be on Friday of this week (17th February) those participating must bring a gold coin donation - to contribute to a larger donation that will be made on behalf of the school community.
