Year 10 Debating Team: Shreya Bhatnagar, Stella Hughes and Tanya George

We have had another great week in debating with five big wins.

Our Year 8 team (Alyssia Borgia, Isabelle Dunn and Anna Mels) defeated Girls Grammar arguing ‘that Australia should become a republic’.

Our second Year 8 team (Pragnya Gupta, Lana Dexter and Stephanie Frater) defeated Canberra Grammar successfully arguing ‘that Australia should become a republic’.

Our Year 10 team (Lily Alexander, Aislinn McArdle and Samantha Trafford) defeated Burgmann arguing ‘that Maths should not be compulsory for Years 11 and 12’.

Our second Year 10 team (Shreya Bhatnagar, Stella Hughes and Tanya George) defeated Girls Grammar arguing again ‘that Maths should not be compulsory for Years 11 and 12’.

Our Year 12 team (Victoria Doman, Bronte Alexander and Maddi Green) defeated St Clare’s arguing ‘that this house supports a quota for public school students in university’.
