Our 2020 Year 12 Retreat was held on Monday 27 July and Tuesday 28 July. The theme for the Retreat was “Dare to Dream”, our Christian Service theme for Year 12 was Love and our 2020 College theme is Building Futures.
Year 12 students reflected on their journey at Merici College and as senior leaders of the College, how they would continue to be leaders with hope and faithfulness – both for themselves and others, what it means to Dare to Dream, where have they have been, where are they are now, where are they are going? A very special repertoire of guest speakers and recorded video messages of support contributed to the success of the retreat and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved. We would also like to thank our Merici catering staff for their amazing meals over the two days and to those who served at the 'Merici Milk Bar' as a special treat. Thank you also to our House Coordinators for the invaluable support they give to the students every day. A heartfelt thank you to Amy Connellan, Head of Mission and Community, and Neve Tually, Youth Minister who were instrumental in the organisation and facilitation of such a successful retreat.
