Women in Aviation/Aerospace Australia Summit

Since 2016, Merici has offered an Engineering Technology elective to our Year 9 and 10 students.  The 2017 cohort are currently studying water, energy and humanitarian engineering, and as part of this module we are collaborating with the international engineering consultancy SMEC to design a task based on the Snowy 2.0 feasibility study commissioned by the federal government.

Cultural immersion in the Lombadina-Djarindjin community

At our recent Narragunnawali Assembly, the school community commissioned the Lombadina Immersion Program participants. The Immersion will take place from 23 September until 2 October. Senior students Hannah Mason, Lauren Hawkins, Alexandra Moylan, Eva Knight, Julia Page, Genevieve Sandeman, accompanied by staff Ms Connellan and Mr Chifley, as well as two Catholic Mission Australia representatives, will participate in a cultural immersion in the Lomadina-Djarindjin community, North-East of Broome organized by Catholic Mission Australia.

Bridge Benefit Dinner 2017 - Book Now!

The Bridge Benefit Dinner will be held on Saturday 9 September in the Merici College Bridge Restaurant commencing at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start. This year our Hospitality students have elected that all proceeds will be donated to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Canberra Hospital. The NICU provides an invaluable service to our community, providing care for babies who require extra attention following birth.
