Congratulations to Alara Salvage, Class of 2023 who won the Australian Institute of Building’s Best Female Student Award (ACT Chapter)

At this morning’s official launch held at Merici College, Minister for Health Rachel Stephen-Smith announced that the ACT Government has named a street in the suburb of Macnamara ‘Annette Street’, in honour of Annette Taylor, the first organ donor in the ACT.

It was a privilege to come together on Saturday, 31 May, with past and present staff, students, parents, and Gerard’s beloved family to honour and celebrate a truly dedicated colleague, teacher, coach, father, grandfather, and friend.

We would like to thank our community for supporting our St Angela Merici Day afternoon celebrations.

As we celebrated the 66th anniversary Mass of Merici College on Friday 30 May, we turned to the life of St Angela Merici—a woman whose faith, courage, and commitment to Christ continue to inspire us. Born in 1474 in the Diocese of Verona, Angela devoted herself to God from a young age, choosing a path of spiritual depth and service.

It’s been an incredible year so far and we have accomplished a lot. From school carnivals to fundraisers, from movie nights to lake walks, we’ve truly done it all. This term, however, is shaping up to be even better!
