Upcoming news and information for Weeks 9 and 10.

Together, we created the word FIDELITAS using hundreds of donated cans and food items, all in support of the incredible work of the St Vincent de Paul Society.

The Merici College Community Council plays an important dual role in providing governance for the College and overseeing the Parents & Friends Committee.

Today, our Year 10 students were privileged to welcome Merici alumna and ACT Australian of the Year, Dr Rose McGready, along with fellow Merici alumna Helen Shephard, (Class of 1981). Rose shared her remarkable journey from Merici student to internationally recognised doctor, researcher and humanitarian, dedicating more than 30 years to improving healthcare for women and children along the Thailand–Myanmar border. 

In 2026, our journey at Merici College is illuminated by the theme of Fidelitas — faithfulness. A faithfulness grounded not in fleeting emotions, but in the steadfast commitment and grace that comes from our relationship with God.

Congratulations to our Year 11 students who received awards on Thursday 14 May for their Year 10 2025 IB Personal Project academic results.

Years 10–12 explored a wide range of opportunities, with external providers showcasing university degrees, vocational training, volunteering and workplace programs, at our annual Careers Expo.

We thank the women who have raised us and encouraged us to grow; whether birth mother, adopted mother, older sister, aunt, grandmother, stepmother, guardian, carer, mentor or friend. Through their presence in our lives we experience care, encouragement and wisdom.
