On Friday 4 September, over 160 Merici fathers and their daughters participated in our annual Father/Daughter ‘ Heart of the Father’ Liturgy and Dinner. It was wonderful celebrating the significance of fathers and male role models in the lives of all, in the formation of each and everyone of us and in the creation of deeply meaningful communities. The father figures in our lives play a hugely significant role in shaping us and Merici women are also blessed to have men in their lives who offer safe landings and firm support, enabling them to grow, flourish, take risks and always feel safe in doing so.
