Principal's Address - 2022 Advent Mass

Good morning everyone and how blessed are we to celebrate such a wondrous mass together. This morning we have marked the advent of Christ – we await, with hope and eagerness, His arrival as our saviour. Thank you, Fr Emil, for leading us, in community, so beautifully. Thank you to Mrs Tolfree who brought us together in community (as you have done so with great energy and creativity all year) and thank you to all members of our community who worked with her to make todays’ celebration so special.

We would like to congratulate all Year 12 students on their outstanding academic achievements.

Year 12 Class of 2022 Graduation Dinner, Ainslie Football Club, Tuesday 29 November 2022

As we gather, celebrate and farewell the Year 12 Class of 2022. I welcome our young women, their parents and loved ones, and Merici College staff.

Name: Meika Sedran

Dream job: Midwife

One place you want to travel to: Iceland or Norway. For no particular reason besides they look cool   

Hobbies: Netball, reading and doing nothing (my favourite hobby)  

Favourite food: Aranchini, and potatoes in any form

Favourite movie: Clueless (1995) 

Favourite book: The Divergent Series. Not the movies though, they are trash!

Name: Tessa George

Dream job: Own my own cafe and make coffee till my life feels complete!

One place you want to travel to: Russia (like its so cool, but probably after the war, I don't want to get caught up in that.)

Hobbies: Sleeping anytime anywhere, hanging out with my pups and going on excruciatingly long drives by myself blasting music.

Favourite food: Slightly salted, almost undercooked broccoli and Reeses Peanut Butter cups but only the mini’s (they just hit different).
