Today St Angela Merici is our star, guiding us along our journey as students at Merici College.
In a year where we have been encouraged to Dare to Dream, it is wise to explore how this season of Advent helps us to do so. I feel that the wonderful task of Advent is to awaken us all to memories of goodness and thus open the door of hope. To the Year 12 class of 2021. Thank you for being you: witty, positive and loving. Thank you for welcoming me so generously to a community you clearly cherish and have led so powerfully this year. Thank you to two women who have led you with wisdom and courage, Heather and Caitlyn. Your genuine openness has helped me refine my vision for the wonderful school that is Merici College. Your voice is strong and significant and may it continue to be so.
A very special night was enjoyed by our Year 12 students and their families last night as we celebrated the Year 12 Graduation Mass and Awards Presentation.

If you love sushi...
But don't want to contribute to the single use plastic problem.....
You can take your own container and set of re-usable chopsticks with you when you know you are planning to order sushi!
You could also take some soy sauce in a container from home and say "no" to the plastic soy sauce fish.
Enjoy!
