Merici is an International Baccalaureate World School offering the Diploma Programme

It is with great pleasure we can announce we are now an IB World School and have been awarded authorisation to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) from 2020.

Merici College Green Tip #23 - Water Conservation

Today the combined water total for our four water storage dams in Canberra is 55.73% according to ICON water. This is as we start the last month of winter when traditionally we receive most of our rainfall.

Here at Merici we are focused on water conservation at all times but this Term in particular as we aim for our accreditation in water from ACTsmart schools.

Student Achievement - Imogene Blake selection to 2020 National Constitutional Convention

Imogene Blake has been selected as one of just five year-11 Canberra students to attend the National Constitutional Convention next year. This comes after competing in the ACT Constitutional Convention at parliament a couple of weeks ago. Imogene’s selection is a rare honour. Also represented will be Canberra Grammar, Radford, Dickson and Daramalan, two girls and three boys. The Convention will be an intense experience of debating and deliberating with students from all states and territories over three days in March, to make recommendations to the Federal Parliament.
