Staff news - Mr Phil Coe, Deputy Principal Development New Appointment

Phil will be greatly missed here at Merici. He has been instrumental to the success of many of our programs. here at Merici. He has always displayed utmost respect and support to all that have been fortunate enough to work with him or be taught by him.

It is with sadness that we announce that Mr Phil Coe, Deputy Principal Development, will be leaving Merici College at the end of this year. Phil has has been appointed to the position of Assistant Principal of St Clare’s College, Griffith, commencing at the start of the 2023 school year.

Phil has been an educator with the Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn for over 17 years, most recently as Deputy Principal Development at Merici College in Braddon. Phil has also held the positions of Head of Senior School, Coordinator, and Classroom Teacher at College in Braddon since 2010, Head of Department (Curriculum Coordinator) at Grey Coat Church of England School in Westminster, London, and Classroom Teacher at St Mary Mackillop College in Tuggeranong.

Phil holds the tertiary qualifications of Graduate Certificate in Religious Education from the Australian Catholic University, Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary), Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Graduate Certificate in Management, and Bachelor of Information Technology (Accounting) from the University of Canberra.
