We would like to thank our community for supporting our St Angela Merici Day afternoon celebrations.

As we celebrated the 66th anniversary Mass of Merici College on Friday 30 May, we turned to the life of St Angela Merici—a woman whose faith, courage, and commitment to Christ continue to inspire us. Born in 1474 in the Diocese of Verona, Angela devoted herself to God from a young age, choosing a path of spiritual depth and service.

Congratulations to all our Year 10 2024 students who received Certificates of Participation and Merit on Friday 23 May for their Personal Projects.

It’s been an incredible year so far and we have accomplished a lot. From school carnivals to fundraisers, from movie nights to lake walks, we’ve truly done it all. This term, however, is shaping up to be even better!

We would like to acknowledge the wonderful contribution made by students which, in no small part, contributed to the success of our Open Day, Be Merici Girl Days and Talk and Tours.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to celebrate Mothers’ Day, share stories, laugh together and make more connections while sharing a meal together.

I would especially like to thank Lieutenant Commander Nicole Grundy. She reminded us all about the purpose of Anzac Ceremonies – we make precious time to remember, learn and think to a more peaceful future.

The next Federal Election will be held on Saturday 3 May and it is important to consider how your vote will impact your child’s education.
