Year 8 Reflection Day "Life of Love"
Year 8 participated in a Reflection Day on Thursday 19 October at the College with the theme "Life of Love". During the day the students were reminded they are held gently in the palm of God’s hand, there are times that their hearts need to be renewed and that they need to ask for forgiveness for the times they have not been completely loving. During the afternoon liturgy, the students had an opportunity to reflect on their actions and they were motivated to start afresh – with a renewed heart.

Tomatoes originally came from Peru where their Aztec name translated to “plump thing with a navel”.

On Tuesday 2 May, the students and staff of Ningil House celebrated the inaugural Ningil House Feast Day. The day began with prayer and reflection in Morning PC, where the formation of the Ningil Mission in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, as well as what it means to be a member of Ningil House today, were referenced. Later in the day, the House celebrated through reciting the House prayer, singing a rousing rendition of “I’m a Ningil House Kid” and sharing cake in what proved to be a most joyous atmosphere.
