Please send your donations to the bin in Student Services.

SW(op) shop will be in Term 4 on Tuesday 7 November at lunch-time in C1/C2.

Start clearing out your unwanted, clean, re-usable items and stand by for donation instructions!

  • Fact: 50% of all fabric ever made is now in landfill.
  • Fact: 30 million pairs of jeans are sold in the world DAILY

Merici College Green Tip #41 - Sustainable Canberra Expo on 13 and 14 October

The ACT Government is holding the inaugural Sustainable Canberra Expo on 13 and 14 October 2023 at Thoroughbred Park. 

The Expo is free to attend and open to the ACT and surrounding community. 

At the Expo you can discover how to save money on your energy bills and live a happier, healthier, more sustainable life.

Commissioning Ceremony 2024 College Leaders

Merici College congratulates our 2024 College Leaders who were commissioned into their new roles by all members of the College.

A special commissioning ceremony was held on Thursday 21 September where the College Captain, College Vice Captain, House Captains, House Vice Captains and Specialist Captains, were officially recognised in their leadership roles for 2024. 

P&F Committee Trivia Night

We would like to thank all our parents and friends, students and staff for attending the P&F Committee Trivia Night last night. Thanks so much for your support and getting involved in the trivia and all the games! It was a great night!

Merici College Green Tip #38 - Season of Creation

September 1 - October 4 is the Season of Creation.

September 1st, the Feast of Creation, also known as World Day Of Prayer For The Care Of Creation, commences the 2023 Season of Creation under the theme 'Let Justice and Peace Flow.'

During this time, Pope Francis calls upon everyone to listen to the 'victims of environmental and climatic injustice' and to 'put an end to this senseless war against creation.'
