What is the IB MYP Personal Project?

Have you ever wanted to plan a caravan trip around Australia, write a play, build a robot or direct a short film? Students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) at Merici will have such an opportunity at the end of Year 9 and throughout Year 10 when they pursue a passion of their choice also known as the personal project. This will happen over an extended period of time so students should be ambitious with their ideas! All students will be assigned a supervisor, whose role is to act as a mentor; providing support and guidance throughout the experience.

He suggested that the way to overcome self-doubt is to decide. He also spent time with our Year 8 students, talking to them about respectful relationships.
