Your dentist would ideally like to see you change your toothbrush every three to four months.
That's a lot of plastic waste.
According to the World Wildlife Fund, around 3.5 billion disposable plastic toothbrushes – usually made from polypropylene and nylon which can take up to 500 years to break down in landfill – are purchased each year around the world.
The vast majority will end up as plastic pollution.
It's Sw(OP) shop time!

Reducing waste is an important sustainability promoting action.
This Greentip is a reminder that your used oral care products can still be dropped off at Student Services in the boxes provided to be recycled by Terracycle.
Toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, interdental brushes, and floss containers are all accepted.
As is your makeup packaging including shadow and powder trays, lip gloss tubes, concealer tubes and sticks, mascara tubes, and lotion dispensers.
