St Angela Merici Day provided our College with a wonderful opportunity to continue to celebrate as a whole community with the Community BBQ to conclude the day of reflection and festivities. The chilly Autumn air did not hamper the true sense of belonging and community shown on the evening. The BBQ is a great opportunity for our whole community to gather, parents to meet PC Teachers and for us to welcome new families to the College.

On Monday 3 April, the Merici College community reflected on the significance of Easter by exploring the Stations of the Cross and other important aspects of Holy Week in the Easter Liturgy. The liturgy was completely student-focussed with approximately 50 students leading all elements.
We wish our community a very Holy and safe Easter.

On Wednesday 22 March, all students taking History in Semester One spent the day visiting the Australian War Memorial. The excursion was enjoyed by all with students gaining a greater appreciation of the roles of Australians in the First World War.

Merici celebrated National Ride to School Day this morning. Students and staff who rode or walked to school were treated to a free and healthy breakfast courtesy of our lovely canteen staff and sustainability volunteers.
