This Friday, 22 March is National Ride to School Day.
Where possible please consider riding or walking to school. To our families, please consider riding or walking to work or wherever you may be going. Walking or riding part of the way is also a good compromise!
While you are riding or walking to work or school take a few moments to consider how you might apply this on other days. Choose to ride or walk short trips, such as to your local shops, wherever possible.
The benefits? Exercise, reduced transport costs, and not putting dangerous emissions into the atmosphere which are threatening the stability of our planet’s life support systems. It is the cumulative impact of our decisions that will determine the long-term viability of the life supporting ecosystems on which we rely for so much including our food and water.
For your efforts you will be rewarded with a free breakfast in the canteen. Please RSVP to [email protected] or [email protected] as soon as possible.
Looking forward to welcoming you on Friday morning and sharing breakfast!
