- Choose aluminium pods – be sure they do not contain plastic,
- Once used, open the lid with a blunt implement,
- Empty the coffee grounds into your compost or garden,
- Rinse the pod and leave to dry,
- Squash the pod – a can from the pantry works,
- Fold the squashed pod in half and place inside an aluminium can,
- When the can is full, you can place it in your yellow recycling bin.
