Textiles and fashion waste have reached unprecedented levels around the world.
Australia is the largest consumer of fashion in the world per capita, with over 300,000 tonnes of textiles discarded each year.
Re-purposing is part of the solution.
You are therefore invited to participate in the Merici College sw(op) shop, an annual event to prolong the life of fashion items and divert them from landfill.
Donations being accepted in Student Services from Week 6.
Clean, re-usable items for the student cohort only please.
