Congratulations to Alara Salvage, Class of 2023 who won the Australian Institute of Building’s Best Female Student Award (ACT Chapter)

At this morning’s official launch held at Merici College, Minister for Health Rachel Stephen-Smith announced that the ACT Government has named a street in the suburb of Macnamara ‘Annette Street’, in honour of Annette Taylor, the first organ donor in the ACT.

It was a privilege to come together on Saturday, 31 May, with past and present staff, students, parents, and Gerard’s beloved family to honour and celebrate a truly dedicated colleague, teacher, coach, father, grandfather, and friend.

Please join us as we celebrate Gerard Ryan and his incredible 40 years of dedication to teaching at Merici College.

I am excited to continue working personally, and within the community, to achieve the type of world that I want to live in.

A 50 year reunion will be held for students from Catholic Girls High School Braddon and Daramalan College who finished Year 12 in 1975 (including those from that group who finished before Year 12).
