I am so excited to work with the Indigenous girls at Merici, they are such a valuable part of our community and I want to make them feel supported and heard. I also want to ensure that our school community is presented with opportunities to learn about Indigenous culture as we will be the participants in the future decisions – such as the Indigenous voice to Parliament – that will impact the Australia we live in. Therefore it is important for all of us to have knowledge, appreciation and respect for the beautiful culture that surrounds us.
My email address is [email protected] any and all suggestions by indigenous and non-indigenous students alike about what you would like our school community to do in 2023 is more than welcome!
I am grateful to have this position for next year and cannot wait for next year to begin.
