Congratulations to our Year 11 students who received awards on Friday 10 March for their Year 10 2022 IB Personal Project academic results. As part of celebrations, three awards were presented. Certificates provide to schools to recognise the achievements in the Middle Years programme on IB Australasia, a professional network that is formally recognised by the IB to provide support in our region. Awards also included Certificates of Merit awarded to students who achieved a score of 7 in one or more subject and Certificates of Participation for participation in the IB Middle Years Programme and involvement in the Personal Project. Certificates of Distinction were also awarded to students who have achieved an overall average score greater than 6 across all subjects.
Congratulations to all our students! We are very proud of the progress that they have made in the four years they have been part of the MYP, as this year group are the first group at Merici to have been involved in the MYP programme since they started in Year 7. Special thanks and appreciation to all the teaching staff involved in the Personal Project and our parents for supporting their daughters on this IB journey.
