| In 2019, Merici College introduced a new College uniform, and with it took steps to ensure continuity of supply, consistency of manufacture and quality control. To achieve all of that and in making the change-over to a new supplier for uniforms, we partnered with PSW Uniform Group, a leading supplier of school uniforms across Australia based in Melbourne. Uniform Group are a long established highly reputable organisation supplying uniforms to hundreds of schools and colleges Australia-wide.
At the time, we also took over the retail operations ourselves. Along with on-line ordering, our shop was open two half-days per week with additional open days during the holiday periods. We are pleased to announce the next step in the evolution of uniform supply for our College Community The current retail shop located on College site will trade until Thursday 10 September. In the two weeks to follow (14 September – 25 September) all stock held on-site and at the warehouse in Melbourne, will move to a shopfront on Woolley Street, Dickson (opposite Vinnies) where it will be stocked, barcoded, merchandised ready for resale under the banner of PSW. During this transition period, parents will not be able to purchase Merici College uniform items. This will also include on-line purchases. Whilst the shop will trade out of new premises, everything else remains the same. The uniform and prices will remain the same, as well as the online ‘click and collect’ ordering service. The benefit of the change is that the shop will be open for longer hours and more days per week, providing better access to our community. The new store will commence trading from Thursday 1 October. More information on the shop location and trading hours will be communicated in the coming weeks. We envisage this change in trading structure to be a seamless process for parents and ultimately provide a better service to our valued College community. |
