Book Week is Week 5 for Merici College (to ensure our seniors can enjoy without it interfering with AST).
The theme: Symphony of Stories.
Hee is our program of events for the week:
- Monday 17 August we will have a cake decorating competition. A completed cake can be brought in from home to be judged by voting with the school community.
- Tuesday is Trivia in the TLC at lunchtime.
- Wednesday will be a Quiz during morning PC.
- Thursday, we have Cosy Cafe with some poetry, or short story reading.
- Friday 21 August will be our Dress up Parade. Normal school rules apply, it must be a recognisable character, students may come to school in their costume and wear all day. For those not participating in the Dress Up Parade, full school uniform is to be worn.
It will be a fun week of celebrations about books, reading and community. Please reach out to Mrs Blakey for any further information.
