On Friday, May 8th, Sir David Attenborough turned 100 years of age.
| David Attenborough is most recognised for his incredible contributions to science, nature and humanity. His engaging, curious and passionate presentation style has become iconic, and his voice is the most recognisable voice in nature documentary making.
According to the Director of the Natural History Museum in London, Doug Gurr: “I think every single person who’s seen anything that Sir David has done has been inspired to care about nature.” Sir David’s legacy lies in every government that has banned plastic bags, in children who wanted to be marine biologists after seeing his documentaries, in his presentation of science and his messages of hope. Happy 100th birthday to a truly inspirational human. Thank you. |
