Last week the Australian Council for Educational Leadership (ACEL) awarded our Assistant Principals Renee Taylor and Nicola McLennan for Excellence in Leadership.
Renee Taylor was awarded for her leadership in teaching and learning, particularly in the implementation of the Catalyst program, high impact teaching practices and our literacy and numeracy intervention programs.
Nicola McLennan was awarded for her leadership and development of early career teachers across a number of CECG schools. She was also recognised for her leadership throughout the ACT as a TQI HALT assessor, working to recognise highly accomplished teachers throughout Canberra.
Merici College congratulates Renee and Nicola on their outstanding achievement. We are very lucky to have them as a part of our community, and we are grateful for their work with our staff and students.
