Last Friday, August 15th, the Inter-school Sustainability Council, established by Merici Sustainability Captain Rebecca Price, met with Senator David Pocock.
It was a great meeting characterised by intelligent discussion and sharing ideas, which could have gone on for much longer.
Key topics included:
- What the ideal future looks like.
- Fossil fuels.
- Microplastics.
- The warming climate.
- Local actions including biodiversity restoration.
- As well as how to get more young men involved in sustainable action!
