Last Friday, a litter audit was undertaken in collaboration with the ACT government Sustainable Schools Program as our activity for World Environment Day.
Collected from the old quad, new quad and indigenous garden, you can see plastic packaging, or parts of plastic packaging, is the main problem.
This adversely effects our water, soil and wildlife.
Please:
- Avoid bringing plastic to school whenever possible.
- If unavoidable, either take it home or place it in any of the red landfill bins throughout the school.
