The water crisis will impact the most populated regions of the world by 2040.
Around 74% of natural disasters between 2001 and 2018 were water-related, including droughts and floods. The frequency and intensity of such events are only expected to increase with climate change.
What can you do?
Take opportunities to reduce your carbon footprint including through transportation choices, composting and growing some of your own food.
Get involved with community groups and projects to restore biodiversity – you can start in your own yard!
Reduce waste – refuse, reduce, re-use, recycle.
