2017 Year 12 Destinations

• Plans for 2019- if they were taking a Gap year

Great Results at the Canberra Show
Submitted by mericiadmin on March 5, 2018 - 1:08pmCongratulations to our Textiles and Fashion students who participated in the 2018 Canberra Show and it was a delight to see them so excited to see their entries hung and displayed so beautifully. A congratulations needs to be extended to all students in Textiles and Fashion who entered especially the students listed below. They all did an amazing job!. Their work is on display in the IC.

Student Achievements - Jessica Manclark
Submitted by mericiadmin on February 28, 2018 - 2:37pmWe congratulate Jessica Manclark, Year 10 student, on her recent achievements. Jessica won the Canberra Cavalry Starlight Music Series on the 26th January this year. The prize was a recording session at the ANU recording studio to record her song. She also sang the National Anthem at the Grand final of the Australian Baseball League here in Canberra. In addition, Jessica was a finalist in the Song-writing Competition in Tamworth and over the holidays she attended the Gondwana Australian National Choir School in Sydney.

Australian Catholic Youth Festival Student Reflections
Submitted by mericiadmin on February 7, 2018 - 11:38amFrom the 6th to the 10th of December 2017, Merici students Erin Smart, Taneisha Cook, Kate reedy, Maddison Green together with Ms Clare Freeman (Teacher) travelled to Sydney along with over 100 other youth from the Canberra/Goulburn Archdiocese to take part in the Australian Catholic Youth Festival. We were joined by another 15,000 young people at Sydney Olympic Park where we participated in four days of prayer, worship and celebration with an atmosphere of joy that we will never forget.
Garden Joy!

Yesterday we harvested for the Canteen:
6 kg beans
5 kg cherry tomatoes
6.5 kg large tomatoes
18 kg Lebanese cucumbers
12 kg apple cucumbers
1.7 kg fairy tales eggplants
5 kg Lebanese eggplants
1 kg normal zucchini
