Bernice joined the staff of Braddon Catholic Girls’ High School (the original name of the College) in 1961 as an Art, History and Literature teacher. She retired at the end of 1992.
Student Achievement at Regional Special Olympics Basketball Competition

It is hard to believe that 39 years ago I came to Braddon as one of 49 intrepid boys who would form the initial intake of males to the school community.
What struck me as incredible at the time, was the sheer size of the Year 12 girls; they all seemed like Giant Amazonian Women to us scrawny 12-year-old boys, almost scary!

It is a requirement that ALL Year 10 students attend during this week because it provides essential information about the requirements for Senior College.
Year 10 Merici Student Jade Esler ... Youngest Pilot in Australia
Submitted by mericiadmin on June 19, 2017 - 12:28pmWe congratulate Jade Esler, Merici College Year 10, on receiving her Recreational Pilot Licence on Saturday 17 June. Jade also celebrated her 16th birthday on the same day. Jade is the youngest pilot in Australia and plans to continue her aviation training, aiming to receive her Commercial Pilots Licence on her 18th birthday.
