The position of Narragunnawali Captain will be shared with Indigenous Students from Year 11, as there is no student in Year 12.
Today nine students from Years 9-11 participated in a pilot outreach activity from the ANU’s College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS). Delivered virtually, but with the help of an on-site facilitator from the ANU, the students heard a keynote speech from Associate Professor Katia Bazaka and then took part in two hands-on workshops.

To divert resources from landfill, the SAM (Sustainability at Merici) team are collecting your beauty product packages for recycling by Terracycle.
Today Merici College staff and students celebrated the Feast Day of Saint Angela Merici, an important celebration in recognition of our Patron Saint Angela Merici, our Founding Orders and our College Houses. May we all continue to be inspired by the words and actions of St Angela Merici, to “challenge people to love life, have hope, be faithful and build futures more wondrous than you dare to dream”.

Yes, Australia is the world's highest per capita emitter of the greenhouse gas Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
With only .3% of global population and 1.3% of emissions, we are ahead of the USA and China. The UK produces 1/3 and Indonesia 1/10 of our emissions, respectively.
On Saturday 5 September, the senior Hospitality students, prepared and presented an 8 course degustation for 68 guests, matched with wines for Eden Road Vineyard for the 2020 Bridge Benefit In Her Name fundraising dinner.
This year’s Bridge Benefit dinner was in honour of our friend Hannah, and the importance of this was felt deeply by those involved. All proceeds will be donated to OzHarvest.
Continuing the theme of easy switches and actions that can be taken at home to reduce both cost and ecological impact, solid soap is an obvious choice over liquid soap.
