Athletics Carnival Results

An all-weather synthetic track means that rain, hail or shine your carnival can go ahead and that it did! Thank you to our courageous Merici College students for braving the delightful weather and contributing to the success of the carnival.  The participation, team spirit and attendance at the carnival was a beautiful reminder of the special community we have here at Merici College.

Thank you to all staff and parents who contributed to making the carnival a success.

Merici College Green Tip #12 - International Compost Awareness Week

This week is International Compost Awareness Week.

The organic materials that can be composted include yard trimmings, leaves, mulch, grass clippings,

some paper products, and food scraps such as raw and cooked fruits,

VALE IVI WARD

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Mrs Ivi Ward has entered into eternal life. Mrs Ward was a dedicated and valued teacher at Merici College from 1988 to 2003 and touched the lives of many students and staff. Our sincere condolences to the Ward and Praks families. May perpetual life shine upon her and may she rest in love.

Below is the memorial notice for Ivi and details of her funeral.

Be a Merici Senior for a Day

Be a Merici Senior for a Day provides Year 10 students with the opportunity to experience a typical day in Senior College. Students are required to arrive at 8.30am and are asked to assemble in the auditorium where they will be assigned their senior buddy. A timetable will be given to each student detailing the classes she will be attending. Students will attend five classes.
