Today, Wednesday 27 April, Merici College held a very special Anzac Assembly. The assembly provided the community with the opportunity to pause and remember the men and women who have served in Australia’s Defence Force, honouring their memory. In particular we celebrated our theme Serving our Community. It was an honour to welcome our guest speaker, Captain Kate Ryan, Royal Australian Navy. Captain Ryan entered the Royal Australian Navy via ADFA in 1990 and trained as a Maritime Warfare Officer.

As with all things zero waste, it is best to be prepared to avoid the waste that holidays tend to bring.
Leaving your Easter egg buying to the last minute and rushing to the nearest supermarket will most likely result in buying plastic wrapped, palm oil containing holiday treats for family and friends.
There are options to buy better Easter eggs and other treats instead!
