Student Achievement - Matilda Hanley, Winner of the 2021 Simpson Prize Competition

he competition is facilitated by the History Teachers’ Association of Australia and is a submission-based competition focusing on the legacy of ANZAC.

Congratulations to Matilda Hanley (Year 10) who has has been selected as Winner of the 2021 Simpson Prize Competition for the Australian Capital Territory. The competition is facilitated by  the History Teachers’ Association of Australia and is a submission-based competition focusing on the legacy of ANZAC, open to all Year 9 and 210  students in Australia. Matilda entered last year, together with many other entrants.  The Simpson Prize Competition Winners from each state and territory will participate in extraordinary tours of Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, National Archives, and other national institutions, as well as receive an information technology package from a selected national retailer to the value of $5,000.
