Student Achievement - Jade Esler joins the RAAF as an Officer Aviation Candidate – Pilot - ADFA

Flight Sergeant Robert McClelland presented Jade Esler with her award today.

Each year, we have a growing number of students in Year 12 who apply for recruitment to the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) as a pathway for their future career. As part of this recruitment, the Defence Force Academy choose the best students to recognise for their performance in the recruitment process.

The ADFA Education Award is presented to Year 12 students who have applied for a role in the defence force as an officer after the completion of Year 12 and who are looking at attending ADFA. The award is given out to students around the country based on their performance throughout Year 11, and also on their performance in the application process for ADFA. The award consists of a certificate, a computer or laptop, and a plaque for the school.

This year one of our Year 12 students has been chosen as a winner of this prestigious award and we congatulate Jade Esler on receiving this award. Jade has been sucessful in her application to ADFA and has accepted a Letter of Offer to join the RAAF as an Officer Aviation Candidate – Pilot - ADFA.

Jade is a very hardworking and dedicated students particularly to her love of flying. We are very proud of Jade and wish her lots of success as she joins the RAAF.
