'Stop Fear Spread Hope' Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign

Over the coming months Merici College will be running a campaign to raise awareness about domestic violence, together with Marist College. This campaign is called ‘Stop Fear Spread Hope’. Students will be invited to take photos that incorporate themes that have been outlined for this campaign and submit them as part of a competition.

Please follow the link http://stopfearspreadhope.weebly.com/ to find a guide about how students can enter the competition, the themes, some images that may give them ideas they may like to photograph, as well as other information about where they can seek assistance if required.

The competition ends in August. This will be followed by an exhibition on Wednesday 23 August 5.30pm-7.30pm at Merici College. The exhibition will display the photos and winners of the competition will be announced. Also, there will be some small fundraising events accompanying the competition and exhibition – all funds will go to the Domestic Violence Crisis Service to help provide resources the organisation provides to those in crisis.

We are looking very forward to receiving lots of submissions.
