HELPING TEACHERS TEACH MORE WITH LESS: a global project. Leading teacher training in limited resource contexts.

Limited Resource Teaching Training (LRTT) enables teachers from around the world to share their ideas, knowledge and passion for teaching. Together they can inspire, support and motivate each other to ensure students receive the highest quality of education.

Great teaching is the cornerstone of great education and great education lifts people out of poverty. LRTT exists to tackle the global challenge of teacher shortage so that one day every child will have a great teacher.

Every child has a right to good education, but limited resources in some parts of the world can cause inequality. LRTT connects teachers across the world and empowers them to be part of the solution.

We congralate Beth Way, Merici College Music Facilitator, who has been selectd to join the Ghana Fellowship on January 2018 with a team of 21 other teachers. There is a great need for improving education in Ghana with 98% of year two students unable to read and understand, whilst only 58% of primary students go through to secondary school. There is a real need to support pre-school and elementary teachers. The Fellowship will be working closely with a number of partners In Ghana, including Sabre Trust and the Ghana Education Service to support the development of education programs and integrate training and monitoring tools into government systems.
