Merici College welcomes Kate Durham to the College from 2021 and wishes her every success in her role as Head of Junior School. Kate comes to Merici with over 20 years of teaching experience in Catholic and Independent Schools. She is currently Head of House at Canberra Girls Grammar School and previous to this, was a Pastoral Care Coordinator and HPE Coordinator at St Mary MacKillop College. Due to her vast experience in leadership roles, Kate is extremely experienced at transitioning students to navigate their junior years of High School successfully and is very much looking forward to leading the junior school here at Merici. She is proud mum to Harry (12) and Evie (9) and outside of school, she leads an active lifestyle and is heavily involved in sport; in particular netball and touch football, and is an Elite level netball coach.
