Graduating Class of 2018 Destinations Report

Here is a proud snapshot of the Class of 2018 and a glimpse of the contribution Merici students will make to our community in the future.

Merici College congratulates every student on their personal and academic achievements for 2018. These have been acknowledged at the College’s Graduation and Award Ceremony. Here is a proud snapshot of the Class of 2018 and a glimpse of the contribution Merici students will make to our community in the future.

More than 71% of students set their goals on achieving an ATAR in 2018 and all achieved this milestone. Our median ATAR was 77.1. Over 87% of students who sat for the AST and completed a T Package received 65+, this is an outstanding achievement. In this cohort of 112 students, 98.2% of students received a Vocational Qualification and this was well above the next in line College in the ACT. 94% intend to continue in some form of recognised education and training in the year after they have left school.
Of that 94%, 5% will combine full- time employment and study and this includes Traineeships in industry and with the Department of Finance and the Department of Health. 53% will go directly into further study at university (combination of university, CIT/TAFE or a private provider for traineeship. 6% have moved into full-time employment and 5% are combining full-time work with study.
