Over the past 2 weeks, students of Balgo House have been continuing to work in partnership with the Sisters of Mercy, Sr Frances and Sr Angela. To continue with Balgo’s willingness to give to others, Sr Angela and Sr Frances asked if we would be able to collect some small items to contribute to 10 gifts for some refugees from Iraq, for Mother’s Day this weekend. During a Friday morning assembly, Sr Angela and Sr Frances came in to meet with Balgo House to receive the gifts. They were extremely grateful for the wonderful efforts of Balgo House and look forward to continuing to work in partnership with the girls in their charity efforts throughout the year.
